Display historical object links
Scope of functions
In principle, any object in Conigma can be linked to other objects. For example, transport requests or project structure elements are linked to Change Requests. Conigma additionally distinguishes between incoming and outgoing object links, or, in a hierarchical approach, between parent and child hierarchy nodes.
In the database, active links are located in the table /GAL/CCM_DATA01 and deleted links in the table /GAL/CCM_HIST01.
To check whether an object was once linked to another object, the buttons "Outbound object links" and "Inbound object links" can be used in the Object editor tab. After a mouse click on one of these buttons, a modal popup dialog with the list of current links is displayed. A radio button in the upper section of the modal popup dialog can be used to additionally display previously existing object links.
In addition to the object descriptions, the unique object IDs and information whether a link has been deleted and whether the former linked object still exists are displayed.
By double clicking on one of the linked objects in the list, the object can be displayed. Depending on whether the object still exists, two different popups are displayed in advance. If the object has already been deleted, a popup is displayed with the version date of the last active version.
If the object is still active, a popup is displayed where you can decide whether to display the active object or the last version of the object when the link still existed.
