Displaying and restoring object versions

In the "Version administration" area of the Object editor , a drop-down list allows you to display any previous version of an object and restore it if necessary.

To view an older version, simply select the desired version from the drop-down list. After selecting, the selected version is displayed serialized in text form in the text editor. If the current object is being edited and an older version is selected, this version cannot be edited. To restore an older version and then edit it, you must first click the "Use Version" button located below the drop-down list.

To compare versions of an object, the ABAP report "/GAL/CCM_OBJECT_HISTORY" can be used.
