Operating modes

The following modes are available

  • Copy mode

  • Restore mode

Copy mode is enabled by default.

A mode change results in all system data that have already been read in being reset. The system is not changed. QCopy indicates this in a confirmation dialog box.

For both modes, the copy destination must be in the same transport domain as the system on which QCopy is performed. Neither the copy destination nor the copy source must have QCopy installed. To read data, the unique system IDs (SID) of the systems to be read must be specified. F4 help is available. In the F4 help for the copy destination, only the licensed systems are displayed.
