History mapping table /GAL/QCP_HISTMAP

It is possible for a system copy to have one production client and 2 quality assurance clients. In this case, a client copy is normally performed after the system copy.

If the data of this copy (source/destination client) is configured in QCopy, the import volume can be significantly reduced.

The following parameters must be entered in the /GAL/QCP_HISTMAP can be configured:

  • SOURCE_SYSTEM: Source system of the system copy

  • TARGET_SYSTEM: Target system of the system copy

  • MAPPING_SOURCE_CLIENT: Source client of the client copy

  • MAPPING_TARGET_CLIENT: Target client of client copy
